As the elected Chapter Treasurer of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at San Diego Miramar College, I was responsible for keeping and filing the chapter’s official financial records and presenting them at officer meetings. Along with four other officers, we coordinated and hosted an induction ceremony for incoming members, contacted and held service activities, and earned the highest reward, five-star reorganization, for our chapter. The service activities included providing food on Thanksgiving for Rachel’s Women’s Center, a homeless services center located in downtown San Diego, beach clean-up, and on-campus activities.
