Memory on the Beach
I remember the time I stepped into the ocean. The water was cold. I stood there and let the water wash away all the thoughts in my mind until there was only me in that present moment.
The Girl and the Sea and the Girl and the Moving Sea were created based on my childhood memory.
The medium of the original artwork is acrylic and colored pencil. When I decided to make it into an NFT, I wanted to explore beyond a simple photograph of the original artwork. I experimented with Adobe After Effects and transferred it into an animation that better expressed the artwork’s mood through the movements.
First open showcase of my artwork
As a SCET Innovation Fellow, I had the opportunity to participate in the NFT Creator Challenge. I created NFTs based on my existing artwork and pitched it to a panel of industry experts. This event provided me with a window to engage with blockchain technology while showcasing my artwork to the public.
